Sunland Park Racetrack & Casino is a racino located in Sunland Park, New Mexico, which is a suburb of El Paso, Texas. It opened its gates as a thoroughbred racetrack in 1959, and also as the only legalized gambling venue in the area. It currently showcases popular slots, video poker machines and electronic table games, plus it sports a boutique hotel.

In 1999, New Mexico legislation saw a decline in horse racing due to casinos and lotteries becoming more and more commonplace. It decided to allow the track to install slot machines which made Sunland Park Racetrack benefit greatly from them, upping its purses from a daily $35,000 to a current quarter million per day. Notwithstanding the rise in benefits, State regulation expressly forbids the casino from being open 24 hours, unlike other stand-alone casinos.

The meet features both Thoroughbreds and Quarter Horses, and runs from December through April; live racing is offered four days a week. The meet is highlighted by the Sunland Derby, a race that was granted a Grade 3 status and is now is an important preparatory race for the Kentucky Derby. Other notable races include the $200,000 WinStar Sunland Park Oaks; the $150,000 Harry W. Henson Breeders' Cup Handicap; the $150,000 Riley Allison Futurity; the $100,000 Borderland Derby; and the $100,000 Sunland Park Handicap. For Quarter Horses, Sunland's top race is the $400,000 Grade 1 Championship, plus the $300,000 Grade New Mexican Spring Futurity.

Simulcast wagering is offered on a daily basis across the country.
